Give Like This!
One of the studies I started recently is on encouragement.
I have learned the importance of this through the encouraging people in my life.
We, as Christians, should be the best encourager’s ever!
Here are some words to live by:
“Encouragement is oxygen to the soul” George Matthew Adams
“How do you identify someone who needs encouragement? That person is breathing” Truett Cathey
“Let no feeling of discouragement prey upon you, and in the end you are sure to succeed” Abraham Lincoln
“I have yet to find the man however exalted his station, who did not do better work and put forth greater effort under a spirit of approval than under a spirit of criticism” Charles Schwab
“Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also to the interests of others.” Philippians 2:3-4
Encourage.
It’s what you are supposed to be doing!
